HM4 RAZZLE DAZZLE & DOUBLE TROUBLE

August 2012 | Clock-making

It is a passion for reduced plane models that pushed Maximilian Büsser to cover the walls, chests and celling of his childhood bedroom with them. The HM4 Thunderbolt clock was born from the child's imagination and the tenacity of a man. Entirely conceived and developed by MB&F, the movement of the HM4 required over 3 years of collaboration between Laurent Besse and Béranger Reynard, craftsmen watchmakers. Due to extreme technical characteristics, each of its 311 components were specifically conceived for the occasion. For example, two barrels were mounted in parallel ensure a 72 hour autonomy and transfer their energy to two identical cradles in the shape of a reactor. By the intervening of the vertical cogwheels, they allow the display of the hours and minutes on the one hand and the supply in energy in the other. http://www.mbandf.com
